school.

I love going to school/University/college in America. At first I thought it was crazy that everyone had to study math and science, but now it seems clever and interesting. They can study philosophy and astronomy, whilst majoring in theatre. It’s awesome.

I also love that they put on proper shows. Like the show I was cast in, Hamlet. It’s an all girl cast, and I’m playing my dream role (Horatio). From what I’ve heard, we’re going to tour in downtown San Francisco for a few weeks, and then Santa Cruz, and at some point perform at the local high schools as well as perform on campus at SFSU. It’s incredible. I wish these opportunities were available at QUT.

I also got the script for the next show I’m doing, which is The Maids by Jean Genet. It’s crazy weird, but I sort of love it. I’m so excited to be a part of it and can’t wait to see how it shapes up.

AND finally Avenue Q! Which opens in December and will hopefully be the biggest challenge of my creative life to date. I’m so pumped for this show- I get to direct it all by myself and make all my own decisions. It’s going to be awesome. So, in conclusion, life at San Francisco State University is pretty rad. If anyone wanted to know ;)
